Holistic Transpersonal Psychology Training

Our Level 6 Diploma in Developmental Transpersonal Psychology offers a holistic and integrative approach to understanding human experience, psychological development, meaning-making, and consciousness.

Rather than viewing people purely through the lens of diagnosis or pathology, the programme explores the relationship between mind, body, emotion, identity, imagination, spirituality, embodiment, relationship, creativity, and existential meaning.

The training combines perspectives from:

  • Psychology

  • Neuroscience and neurobiology

  • Transpersonal psychology

  • Vontemplative traditions

  • Existential philosophy

  • Symbolic and reflective practice

  • Embodiment and nervous system awareness

Creating a framework that supports a more complete understanding of human development and wellbeing.

What Makes the Training Holistic?

A holistic approach recognises that emotional and psychological wellbeing cannot be separated from the wider context of human life.

This includes:

  • Physical and nervous system states

  • Emotional experience

  • Relationships and attachment

  • Meaning and purpose

  • Imagination and creativity

  • Spirituality and existential reflection

  • Environment and embodiment

  • Identity and life transitions

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or behavioural change, the programme explores how these dimensions interact within the unfolding experience of being human.

A More Integrative Approach to Psychology

Many conventional psychological approaches focus primarily on diagnosis, cognition, symptom management, or behavioural intervention.

Our Level 6 Diploma expands this perspective by exploring broader questions such as:

  • How does identity develop?

  • How do people make meaning from experience?

  • What contributes to fragmentation or disconnection?

  • How do imagination, creativity, and symbolism influence psychological life?

  • What role do spirituality and existential questioning play in human development?

  • How can people move toward greater integration, coherence, and self-awareness?

This creates a more developmental and integrative framework that values both scientific understanding and lived experience.
